DFIE › Cash, cheque and UPI reconciliation
Collection reconciliation
Reconcile cash, cheques and UPI collected by your delivery staff, every day
Delivery staff collect cash, cheques and UPI on your behalf. DFIE tells you what should be in hand at day-end, what was counted, and who is responsible for any difference.
Split payments on one invoice
Cash, UPI, cheque and credit can share an invoice, recorded exactly as collected.
Counted by denomination
The Delivery Executive counts cash by denomination against what DFIE expects. Accounts confirms the deposit against its scroll number.
Differences are followed, not buried
A shortage goes to the right person to approve and is acknowledged by the Delivery Executive in the app. It carries forward until recovered, offset, paid in or written off with a reason.

Common questions
Does DFIE support UPI and cheques?
Yes. Payment modes are switched on in one place, and a single invoice can be paid in several modes.
What happens if the cash is short?
The shortage is recorded against the Delivery Executive, goes to the right person to approve, and is carried forward until it is cleared.
