Distributor Management System

A distributor management system (DMS) that covers delivery and collection, not just billing

A DMS is meant to run the distributor’s side of the FMCG chain. Billing software records the sale; what happens after it — the godown, the vehicle, the cash, the returns, the credit — is where most distributors still use registers and WhatsApp. DFIE is the DMS for that part.

From invoice to closed day in one system

Upload the invoice batch from your billing software. Admin approves and assigns it, the Store Keeper issues stock, the Delivery Executive delivers and collects, Accounts reconciles. Each batch is tracked as one delivery assignment.

Several principal companies, one login

Each company you distribute for has its own payment modes, OTP rules, credit rules and bill series, while reports can show one company or all of them.

Credit and collection included

Outstanding credit by customer and by bill, collection visits from the field, collection batches verified before the books move, follow-ups and write-offs with approval.

Reports from the real work

Sales, returns, shortages, cash and cheque registers, customer insights and GST reconciliation, all built from what was actually delivered and collected.

Used by: Admin, Accounts, Store Keeper, Delivery Executive, Sales Executive

Common questions

What is a distributor management system?

Software that runs the distributor’s operations: orders and invoices, stock issue, delivery, collection, returns, credit and reporting. DFIE covers everything after billing.

Does a DMS replace Tally or my billing software?

No. You keep your billing software and upload the invoice batch into DFIE, which then runs approval, stock issue, delivery, collection and reconciliation.
