Route intelligence
Route intelligence that gets smarter with every delivery
DFIE learns where your customers really are from the deliveries themselves, and uses it to order the route, check every delivery, and keep the customer master accurate — without anyone cleaning up locations by hand.
An optimised stop order, on real roads
When a Delivery Executive accepts a delivery assignment, DFIE works out the order of stops that covers all customers with the least road distance — from the godown and back. Their delivery list follows that order, and they can still deliver in any order the day demands.
- Calculated on the actual road network, not straight lines
- Several invoices for the same shop count as one stop
- The same order numbers the stops on the live map and in reports
Planned road route vs. distance travelled
Every accepted assignment gets its real road distance, as a round trip from the godown. While a Delivery Executive is out, the live map draws the planned road route through every stop, with their actual GPS trail on top — so detours and missed stops are visible at a glance, along with distance covered against the plan.
Geo Fencing on deliveries
Set, per company, how far from a customer’s registered location a delivery may be confirmed — and whether going outside it should warn or block.
- Apply it to all deliveries, or only to credit, cheque or larger invoices
- A warning is recorded against the delivery for review
- A block stops the delivery from being confirmed until the Delivery Executive is at the customer
Customer locations that confirm themselves
A new customer has no location to check against. DFIE records each delivery’s location and confirms the customer’s master location only once a set number of recent deliveries agree with each other. One bad GPS reading never becomes the permanent address.
