How DFIE keeps your business data yours
Built to keep your business data yours
A distributor's invoices, customers, collections and staff are sensitive. These are the protections DFIE has today.
Every company's data kept apart
Each distributor's records are separated at the database level on every table, and every request is checked again on the server against the signed-in company. One company can never see another's data.
A leaver is cut off at once
When an Admin switches a user off, their access stops within seconds, even in the middle of a session. Sign-ins are signed, time-limited and checked on every request.
Access by role, screen and company
Admin decides which screens, which actions (view, create, edit, delete) and which companies each user can use. The server enforces these limits as well as the screen.
Passwords are never emailed
When an email address is given, a new user sets their own password through a one-time link that expires. Nobody receives a password in a message.
A trail for every sensitive step
Assignments, stock issues, returns, day-end and user switch-offs are recorded with who did what, and when.
Locked down on the web
DFIE's servers answer only DFIE's own sites, and every page and answer carries protective headers against being framed or misread by the browser.
Money never moves on one person's word
Cash deposits, shortages, write-offs and corrections each need a second person to confirm, Accounts first and then Admin, and every step is recorded. And each Delivery Executive has limits on daily value, open assignments and shortages, so one person cannot cause a large loss.
No advertising trackers
DFIE's sites set no advertising trackers and no tracking cookies.
